Training will focus on treatment with children, adolescents, adults, and their families using evidence-based treatments for anxiety disorders, mood disorders, personality disorders, and trauma-related disorders. Externs will be trained and supervised in CBT and DBT-informed treatment. Externs have the choice of also receiving training in comprehensive DBT. The externship offers a hybrid model, consisting of in-person work in Queens, NY, and virtual work as well.
