Aliza Pfeffer, MS

Aliza Pfeffer is a clinical psychology extern at The CBT/DBT Center and a third-year doctoral student in the Clinical Psychology PsyD program at Long Island University Post. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Queens College.

Throughout her clinical training, Aliza has had the opportunity to work in a variety of community-serving organizations, where she has worked with individuals across the lifespan from diverse backgrounds and life experiences. She has also worked with individuals experiencing a range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, OCD, and relationship difficulties.

Aliza's approach to therapy reflects her curiosity and passion for the field, as well as her commitment to helping people achieve their goals. She believes in evidence-based practice and in finding the right fit between each client and the treatment approach.
