Eliezer Jacobson, LCSW

Eliezer Jacobson, LCSW is a staff clinician at The CBT/DBT Center where he provides psychotherapy for adolescents and adults. He earned his Masters in Social Work from the Wurzweiler School of Social Work in New York, NY in 2020.

Eliezer is experienced at treating a wide range of conditions, including anxiety and depressive disorders as well as interpersonal difficulties. He is committed to delivering evidence-based therapy and has completed extensive training and supervision in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP).

Eliezer has experience working in outpatient and school settings. In those capacities he has taken a holistic approach to treatment, partnering with parents, Rabbonim, and educators in order to achieve optimal client outcomes. In addition to his clinical work, Eliezer is enrolled part-time in Bais Medrash Govoah, in Lakewood, NJ, contributing to his ability to deliver culturally sensitive treatment within the frum community.

Eliezer believes that therapy need not be a stressful experience. To that end, he utilizes warmth, respect and a generous dose of humor to make sessions a highlight of his clients’ week. From the onset of treatment, clients feel empowered knowing that they are taking productive steps towards feeling better.
