Rabbi Yitzy Blumstein, MHCI

Rabbi Yitzy Blumstein is a clinical mental health counseling intern who has experience working with adolescents and young adults. He is completing his M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Bellevue University. For the past year, Yitzy has worked at Mevaseret in Jerusalem, where he continues to work directly with young adults. He previously completed a clinical internship at Ally Valley in Monsey, where he also provided therapy to clients.

Yitzy brings years of experience working with young men through clinical work, mentoring, teaching, and community leadership. He currently directs a Kollel in Ramat Eshkol, where he works closely with married men. He also works with students at Aish HaTorah and mentors young adults through Olami Scholars. Earlier in his career, Yitzy worked with at-risk teens and with children with special needs, including experience assisting with ABA-based services.

Yitzy holds rabbinical ordination from Jerusalem Kollel, adding to his understanding of the cultural, religious, and spiritual challenges that are relevant for men in the Jewish community.

Clinically, Yitzy has experience working with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and adjustment challenges. His work is grounded in evidence-based treatment, with an emphasis on identifying clear goals, developing a healthy sense of self, and helping clients make meaningful and lasting changes.
