Postdoctoral Fellow

Dr. Sarah Green is a postdoctoral fellow at The CBT/DBT Center, providing individual therapy, family therapy, and group therapy. Sarah completed her training at Rutgers’ School Psychology Doctoral Program. Her dissertation research explores school perspectives on cyberbullying policies and interventions. Sarah previously worked at Achieve Behavioral Health where she provided individual and group services to adults, adolescents and children within the Orthodox Jewish community. Sarah also co-led DBT skills groups and provided individual sessions in their intensive outpatient program for adult women. At Achieve’s IOP, Sarah was involved in developing and facilitating workshops for family members of women who struggle with emotion dysregulation. Additionally, Sarah has worked in Jewish day schools, providing therapy to children and working with their families, teachers, and principals.

 

Dr. Green has experience conducting psychological and learning assessments for children and adults to assess for ADHD, learning disabilities, and emotional disorders. She has experience working in elementary and middle schools as well as in higher education counseling settings.

Sarah is committed to her clients and is invested in their growth. She works hard to provide quality care and evidence-based interventions to help individuals meet their goals. She is passionate about providing DBT and trauma-based interventions in the frum community and strives to offer treatments that actually work for her clients.
