“Together, we can create a world where therapy that works isn't newsworthy — it's boring.”

I’m Dr. Chaya Lieba Kobernick, founder of The CBT/DBT Center.

I’m in this field because I want to see people living better lives. Cliché? Maybe. But isn’t that why we’re all here?

And that’s why nothing hurts more than seeing people struggle in therapy when they don’t have to.

It’s not just the time and money wasted (and the headache and heartache and emotional rollercoaster and and and) It’s the fact that the longer therapy takes to “work,”  the longer people and their families suffer.

And that is unacceptable.

Your organization is doing incredible work

Supporting people through dark times, helping them find the right care, and restoring hope.

Because of you, the world of frum mental health is in a much better place than it was. So many lives made whole again. Families helped. Light brought back.

But in the face of a growing mental health crisis, there’s always more to do.

The goal of this summit isn’t to help the individual — that’s what you already do so well.

This is about spreading awareness in the Jewish world on a global scale.

Helping people see their mental health struggles as treatable — not inevitably chronic.

Empowering people with a deep knowledge of their struggles and the best treatment options, so they can take charge of their journey to health.

Providing practical tools to maximize therapy—finding the right therapist, assessing progress, identifying red flags, and more. Because when people know what to expect from therapy — and how to keep assessing to keep progress on track  — they get better results. Faster.
