Gittie Sobolofsky, SWI

Gittie is a social work intern clinician at The CBT/DBT Center. She earned her undergraduate degree in Psychology from Mount Saint Vincent College and is currently pursuing her Master's Degree in Social Work through Daemen University School of Social Work.

Gittie brings a fresh perspective, positive energy, and genuine enthusiasm to social work. Passionate about helping others, she is dedicated to learning and applying new skills in meaningful ways.

Her clinical experience includes working with adolescents and young adults in residential and school settings, particularly those struggling with addiction, substance abuse, and risk-taking behaviors. She excels at building strong therapeutic rapport, creating a supportive environment where clients feel safe and understood. Her interpersonal skills foster trust and engagement, allowing her to form meaningful, client-centered relationships.
Gittie believes in the inherent strength and goodness within each individual and feels inspired and humbled to support them in their journey, while empowering clients to take control of their own growth and transformation.
