Staff Clinician
Nechama Quinn, LMSW, earned her Master’s degree in Social Work from the Kent School of Social Work at the University of Louisville and brings experience across foster care, case management, and school-based mental health settings. Her background includes work with children and adolescents, as well as adults and young adults, including women navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, and emotion dysregulation. She works extensively with seminary students, helping them navigate the personal, emotional, and interpersonal challenges that often arise during this important stage of development.

Nechama is comprehensively trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), including DBT for Eating Disorders (MED-DBT) and DBT for Children (DBT-C). She has also completed advanced training in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), which she integrates to support effective, values-based change.

At The CBT/DBT Center, Nechama works closely with individuals seeking structured, skills based, and evidence-based care. She also leads DBT skills groups tailored to women, teens, and children and provides consultation and guidance to clinicians developing competency in behavioral and evidence-based approaches.

She is passionate about delivering precise, evidence-based treatment that is active, collaborative, and change oriented. Her clinical approach is warm, authentic, and grounded in contemporary behavioral science, with a strong emphasis on tracking progress, building skills, and helping clients create meaningful and sustainable change.
